Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon

We've all heard of Chubby Stick by Clinique and Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable lip stain but now there's a new kid on the block; it's all about the Colour Boost lip crayon. Bourjois released four shades earlier this month - 01 Red Sunshine, 02 Fuschia Libre, 03 Orange Punch and 04 On the Beach (available in Boots and Superdrug).

I am not really the lip gloss kinda gal, I really despise the heaviness and sticky, tacky residue that most lip glosses tend to offer, so when I purchased these I was taking a slight gamble at £7.99 each but with an 3 for 2 deal and a free pair of Bourjois sunglasses, how could I resist?
However, after applied my lips were full of moisture and felt rich, whilst the coverage was perfect and long-lasting; I fell instantly in love! I bought shades 03 Orange Punch and 04 On the Beach - these colours are stunning and contain SPF 15 protection, so these crayons are oh! so summer ready; a definite must-have for this summer's beauty regime!

3for2 +free Bourjois sunglasses only at Boots! Bourjois 1 Second magic nail polish remover review coming soon...

Have you tried the new Colour Boost lip crayon? Will you be wearing yours this summer?

Soap and Glory vs Boots Extracts

I am one massive Soap and Glory'a (I have no doubt this will become quite obvious in my near future posts hehe). I adore the brand, every product they sell on the market smells, looks and feels incredible. Therefore I would be the last person to try and sway anyone into buying an opposing product (or so you would think). However, after receiving a 'Boots Extracts' product as a gift we definitely have a contender people. I understand that Soap and Glory can be a little on the pricey side, so if you are looking for something cheaper I may have the answers:

-Boots Extracts Body Butter 200ml - £8.00:
I am currently using one out of their many scents, Mango and I have to tell you this stuff is on par with Soap and Glory's Body Butter, the smell is so incredible, I could eat it! It's completely organic, contains Shea Butter and ingredients from Fairtrade. It leaves your skin feeling utterly hydrated, soft and smelling deeeeelish!!!

Have any of you fellow bloggers discovered any product contenders to save on the pennies?

Pluppy love...

Firstly, I am very annoyed with myself, I have not been consistent with this whole blogging malarky at all; I guess I thought it would be relatively easy to just throw myself into writing a post every other day but after working my 9-5 I just haven't seemed to be able to get around to putting anything together (no excuses, I know!)

However, I am going to give this a second blast and tell you about the most amazing month of maaaa liiiiiiiiiife!!!!! Ooooo June, June, June... You have been extremely good to me this year, why? I have no funking idea, but I am not about to complain after I received the most incredible birthday gift... (noo, not a ring, not just yet 'hehe') the most beautiful little pluppy was placed into our life on 1st June; my boyfriend and I had been considering having a four legged baby for quite some time, never did I guess he had this little number hidden up hes sleeve, the naughty boy hehe!

Welcome Ted, my little teddy bear. He is a Chow Chow, and was brought into the world on 6th March 2013.
Over the last few weeks he has been housebound as he hadn't had both of hes vaccinations, last week he had hes last injection and that now equals walkies!!!!! We ventured out for hes first adventure on Sunday afternoon and boy did he love it, the attention that is!!
I feel like a boasting mother, but he is simply just 'too good to be true', he is pretty much toilet trained already, rarely has any woopsy accidents and he's already full of manors; a keen sitter and shakes a paw like a true gent!
He is just so cute, and growing soo fast weighing in at 10.4kg - everybody loves Teddy especially mummy and daddy!!!!!

Teddy's blog no.1 - complete! I will update soon and note all of he's progress :-)

& that is Pluppy love xxx

There's no time like the present...

After weeks of 'umming' and 'ahing' over when and where to begin my opening entry into the bloggers world;
What should my title read? What should my first line say? Typing, deleting, typing, deleting, typ..... (you know how the story goes!)
I decided to stop procrastinating, take the bull by the horns and just go for it...

I think its fair to say when I'm not working my 9-5, I'm browsing the web and spending the majority of my time reading product reviews, watching tutorial videos and dabbling into 'all things girly', due to this I've been inspired and therefore urged into writing my own 'lifestyle' blog; from 'Soap and Glory' to 'Oozing chocolate brownies' and everything in-between.

So, here goes... Wish me luck!
